This album is about happiness (or lack thereof) in various forms of life, whether it is an exploration of inner peace, or a sense of joy through tacky appliances. Over the last year I have had experiences (whether through starting or losing relationships, or working overnight at a grocery store) in which I wanted to articulate through instrumental music. Each song is a door to a part of my life and my personality. I truly believe that the best way to get to know someone is through what they listen to, and what they make, so I suppose you could consider this an icebreaker of sorts.
